IRQL

[edit]

What in the world is IRQL? 128.122.24.42 (talk) 19:31, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DPC Latency

[edit]

I don't know much about the subject, but High DPC Latency can be caused by bad device drivers (For networking, USB and similar devices). This would lead to things like video and audio stuttering. I was wondering if anyone was an authority to put that kind of stuff in to the article. (or decide if it's too much detail for a wikipedia article) 82.42.228.187 (talk) 13:32, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I can confirm that the Axia audio over IP driver is affected by DPC latency. Old drivers (of any kind that generates a DPC object) can cause dropouts of 10ms or more when the latency is high or if it spikes frequently. Freshgroundcoffee (talk) 22:30, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
