What is a programmer??

[edit]

The article states:

Known bugs are randomly added to a program source code and the programmer is tasked to find them.

As far as I know today it's not a programmer's job to find bugs but the job of a validator or verificator (cf. Software verification and validation). So I think the article should be changed. However it seems that bebugging was developed when noone distinguished between programmer and tester .... ---Hfst (talk) 20:39, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
