Ajay Natraj is an Indian film actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi industry. He made his debut with a Tamil movie "Madurai Sambhavam" in 2009.As of January 2024, he has starred in over 25 films as the main lead, villain and in supporting roles Turkish Tharkkam is his next expected release film.

Career

Ajay Natraj started his career as a junior artist. He first appeared in a Malayalam movie, Kakki Nakshathram in 2002. Natraj was known for his dance performances during his school college days. In the year 2008 he got selected as one among the 16 out of 16000 contestants in a dance reality show in the Jeevan tv, and he won third prize as best male dancer. Director Harikumar was the one among the judges of the show, and he invited Mr.Natraj to play the character of a police officer in his upcoming tamil movie "Madurai Sambhavam". It was his first appearance as a character role.


There after in 2009 he got selection in a biggest acting really show "Mammootty the best actor" season -1 in Asianet tv channel. He was one among the finalist in the contest.

His first movie as a central character was " Korattipattanam railway gate" in 2011. His first notable character in tamil movie industry was "Maruthu Pandi in "Nedunalvaadai" as main antagonist, Directed by selvakannan in 2019. After releasing this movie he got an offer from one of the biggest film making company Sun pictures to play a comedy character in the great director Paadiraj's movie "Namma veettu pullai" in the year 2019 with Suri and Shivakarthikeyan. Mean while he had worked with Bollywood director Soojith Sarkar's Madras cafe with john Abraham.

He is known for his malayalam movies like Honeybee, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Oru Mexican Aparatha , Sir CP, Madurai Sambhavam 2009, Bumper (Tamil), Tourist home (Malayalam), History of joy (Malayalam).

Personal Life

Ajay Natraj was born in Cherthala, Alleppey district in Kerala. He got married with his long time Greek girlfriend Sofia Digaletou in 2015, and he has a Daughter Eirini Xrisovalantou. At present he is settled in Cochin, Kerala
