Terminology

[edit]

Near as I can figure these are the terms used in relation to this organization.

  • Revolutionary Fibers and Textiles Manufacturing Innovation Hub - the Defense Department's name for it (maybe a funding line)
  • Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) and/or AFFOA Alliance - industry
  • Advanced Functional Fabrics of America (AFFOA) Institute - MIT specific
    • AFFOA National Fabric Innovation Network - also referred to by MIT [1][2]

The names may or may not conform to incorporated entities or any program of record. The press seems to have gotten them mixed up sometimes too. - Brianhe (talk) 23:22, 3 January 2017 (UTC)![reply]
