Terminal values include beauty, equality, and wisdom. Values are influenced by culture and are weighed differently in different societies.

Terminal value is also applicable in computer science, meaning a string or character representing the end. For example, a terminal value is introduced when one hits the 'enter' key in order to start a new paragraph.

In finance, a terminal value is the value of something at the end of its life. The term can also be used to mean the net worth of a good after it has been completely depreciated.
