Maybe somebody could add material on integer programming, associated with the work of Jack Edmonds or Egon Balas or Manfred Padberg or George Nemhauser and friends. Kiefer.Wolfowitz (talk) 01:00, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Article title
The name of the page is wrong. "Polyhedral combinatorics" in the world outside of wikipedia is something different than what is described in this article. The article describes the combinatorial theory of polytopes. It's just the wrong word. Google it! There's a bunch of books and university lecture notes on "Polyhedral combinatorics": it is a subfield of Combinatorial Optimization. Ziegler's book (which is mainly on the (combinatorial) theory of polytopes), names things correctly.
Not that it is relevant now (see David's reply) but for your information IP editors cannot change page titles. You need to either create an account and use it for other things until Wikipedia trusts it, or make a formal request to the community. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 16:32, 12 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
