I may just be revealing my own lack of mathematical knowledge here, but... is there any chance someone could actually explain in the article how a person is supposed to read this function? Is it a function of an arbitrary number of parameters? Is w a set?... Well, it can't be, because it's used like a number... Is it a function of all of the divisors of w? And even if we knew all of that information, where do the values of n_k come from? They just sneak in out of no where without explanation.
