Jim Button (Jim Knopf) is an animated series produced by Saban Entertainment, Saban International, CinéGroupe and SIP Animation and based on the novel The Adventures of Jim Bottone by Michael Ende, however it has many differences compared to the original book, introducing new characters and settings. The cartoon was aired in the USA from 26 August 1999 to 30 September 2000 on Cartoon Network, in Germany on KiKa from 12 November 1999
