Similarities to original paper?

I'm not super familiar with the Wikipedia policies on this, but it seems that a large part of the procedure and explanation is taken directly from the source paper. Is this okay/acceptable? I realize that there are not really any other sources for this information other than the original research paper... ChunyangD (talk) 06:22, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Error

In the main formula: |x>=Sum_{i} \bet_{i} (lambda_{j})^(-1) |u_{j}> index i and j are confused! Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.76.6.79 (talk) 04:38, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Quantum algorithm for linear systems of equationsHHL AlgorithmHHL Algorithm – This article is currently has a generic title: per WP:CRITERIA, I think it would be more concise and precise to title it HHL Algorithm. My reasons are thus:

  1. The current title is long: HHL Algorithm is much shorter
  2. The current title is potentially ambiguous: a new quantum algorithm for solving linear systems of equations may be developed in the future
  3. The algorithm is already referred to as "HHL" in the Quantum information navbox at the bottom of the page
