Introduction

Perceptual Control Theory (PCT) is a psychological theory of animal and human behavior originated by William T. Powers.

PCT contrasts with all other psychological theories in that it sees an organism's behavior as a means of controlling its perception rather than seeing behavior as a function of perception.
