IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications (CG&A) is a magazine published by the IEEE Computer Society since 1981. It covers the theory and practice of computer graphics, including modeling, rendering, animation, (data) visualization, HCI/user interfaces, novel applications, hardware architectures, haptics, and virtual and augmented reality systems[1]. From specific algorithms to full system implementations, CG&A offers a combination of peer-reviewed papers and informal department articles. Theme issues guest-edited by researchers in their fields track developments and trends in computer-generated graphical content, while tutorials and surveys provide a broad overview of timely topics. Regular departments further explore the core areas of graphics as well as extend into topics such as user studies and experience, education, history, and opinion[2] (CG&A Author Information).
Published six times a year, CG&A is addressing people working in computer-generated graphics technology and its applications in science and engineering as well as business and the arts.
