Rob Walter
Rob Alun Walter (born 1975) is a South African cricket coach.[1][2][3] He has been the head coach of South Africa national cricket team in the ODI and T20I formats since January 2023.[4][5]
Career
Walter served as the Proteas' strength, conditioning, and fielding coach from 2009 to 2013.[6][7]
In 2013, Walter was appointed as the head coach of Titans.[8][9] Later, he also worked as an assistant coach with the Pune Warriors and Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League.[10][11]
In 2016, Walter moved to New Zealand to coach the Otago Volts for five years, leading them to two finals.[12][13]
In April 2021, Walter joined the Central Stags.[14] He departed in January 2023 to assume his current position of head coach with the South Africa national cricket team.[15] Prior to this, he had gained experience in international cricket with New Zealand A in 2022.[16][17]
