Ball python

Once you've had a little experience, caring for a Ball, also known as a Royal Python, it becomes much more easy than you might expect. The latin name for a Ball Python is Python regius.

There are a few obstacles to overcome, and many things to consider before becoming a snake owner. Ask yourself the following questions:

• Am I able to dedicate at least 15 minutes every day to the care of my snake?
• Am I willing to feed my snake other animals as food?
• Am I willing to spend a potentially hefty amount of money to keep my snake in good health?
• Am I a responsible person, who is mentally capable of caring for another animal?
• Do I have an adequate environment for my snake to live in?

These are some of the things you must ask yourself before jumping into snake ownership. If you've answered yes to all of the above, you're ready. If you answered no to any of the above, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CARE FOR A SNAKE, or any animal for that matter. If you are unsure of any of the above, read on, and you'll soon learn the answer.
