This section is too long by at least three-fifths. Shorter text length and a footnote would be great. I would like to hear feedback before I edit section.SLY111 (talk) 21:13, 11 December 2012 (UTC)SLY111
The first footnote and "Inside Eli"
Given the insider-outside animus and fraternity that animated the founding of each of the landed Yale College societies, the Pundits lemonade stand in the courtyard of the Keys tomb is a stroke of American genius. I'd guess a Keys members arranged it...or the Pundits might had been tossed off the property - great gesture if this is true.
The "Inside Eli" reference is a bit misleading. The pamphlet is humorous rather than journalistic in tone and content; I'd guess Calvin Trillin and other members of Keys authored it, reading (and rereading and rerereading) the text. WHS and Bones take good shots from the authors.
I'd imagine a Keys guy (or gal) is an ideal, at least among the delegates that tapped the guy (or gal). 68.173.91.55 (talk) 16:11, 9 July 2011 (UTC)SLY111
