Welcome to WikiProject Category sorting! Our project mission is to better organize categories for better usability. Everyone is welcome to help.

Project goals

WikiProject Category sorting primarily aims to sort categories and articles in Wikipedia. The project has defined the following as its goals:

Structure categories and subcategories to improve usability.
Assist in Categories requiring diffusion category diffusion.
Verify that categories used are relevant to the topic.
Ensure articles are not on both a category and its subcategory.
Ensure categories appear without annotations and are in line with WP:NPOV.
Ensure categories are used in articles in an uncontroversial and self-evident manner
