Overview

Inquiry based learning describs a range of philosophical, curricular and pedagogical approaches to teaching. Its core premises include the neccesity of basing learning around students questions and an approach to pedagogy that requires students to solve problems requiring a holistic range of skills.

Philosophy

The philosophy of inquiry based learning finds it antecedents in the work of Socrates, Montaigne, Dewey and Freire among many others.
