Ronald Chase Amick (May 5, 1999 – January 26, 2021), better known by his stage name 6 Dogs, was an American Hip-Hop artist.[1] 6 Dogs rose to fame when he released a YouTube music video for his song "Flossing". Shortly thereafter, 6 Dogs released music videos and audio for his songs "Someone" and "Faygo Dreams" on the Alternative/Hip-Hop YouTube channel known as Astari: these popular singles have amassed roughly 25 million views on YouTube alone. Moreover, these singles would eventually make it on 6 Dog's self-titled debut album.

6 Dog's (Chase Amick) "Faygo Dreams" produced by Ahmad Selim a.k.a Pretty Pacc was certified Gold by the RIAA on October 20, 2020.

Amick passed away on January 26, 2021. His posthumous and third studio album "RONALD" was released on March 12, 2021.[2][3][4][5][6]

Early life

6 Dogs, whose birth name was Ronald, was born on May 5, 1999. He preferred to go by his middle name, Chase; Chase attended Alpharetta High School, where he started his music career as a 16 year-old junior. [7]

Career

6 Dogs garnered over 100 million streams on services such as YouTube, Soundcloud, Apple Music, Spotify etc. Eventually, 6 Dogs collaborated with rap media titans such as NoJumper, Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade, Benny Blanco, Danny Wolf and others. In 2018, 6 Dogs co-directed a music video for his single "Buttcheeks" with Executive Producer and Director Cole Bennett.

Death

On January 26, 2021, it was reported that 6 Dogs had fallen from a building.
