Why they are primary: whois on libreboot.at domain reveals "GNU Hostmaster" and (at least today) has the same IP address subnet as GNU.org. The people involved are also heavily involved with GNU and FSF, for example Adrien was a Libreplanet presenter and Denis was a replicant developer which gets FSF funding, and has written on fsf blog several times in the past. (Denis and Adrien are the leaders of libreboot.at)). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Open-source firmware is firmware that is published under an open-source license. It can be contrasted with proprietary firmware, which is published under a proprietary license or EULA.[1][2][3]
