Reason (syntax extension for OCaml) → Reason (programming language) – https://reasonml.github.io/docs/en/what-and-why says that it is a programming language. https://2ality.com/2017/11/about-reasonml.html, the citation for the first sentence which says it is a syntax extension, says that it is a programming language. I don't doubt that it is a syntax extension of OCaml, but I don't think we have reliable sources saying that it is not a programming language. The name "Reason (programming language)" better parallels the titles of other articles, and is a lot less unwieldy than "Reason (syntax extension for OCaml)" Enervation (talk) 04:54, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- Support, several sources in the article describe it as a programming language. The current identifier is needlessly complex. BegbertBiggs (talk) 19:57, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
