KPDS is a language exam administered in Turkey in order to evaluate foreign language knowledge of especially governmental officials. The word is acronym for Kamu Personeli Dil Sınavı (Governmental Staff Lnaguage Exam. The exam is given in several languages, but English is the most widely accepted one. It is regarded as one of the most difficult language exams in the world. So far, only one person, Seyfi Hoca, who is also famous for his ÜDS exam success, is publicly known to have got 100 correct answers out of 100 questions. The exam is given twice a year, in May and November, on the first Sunday of these months. The exam is administered only in Ankara. As the questions are not published or sent in any way, there is much contraversy as to its quality.
