Mix Up Between Languages

Was there some other language called "V", that is being referred to? The year and dates don't seem to match. A Google search does show a number of different languages called V. The language called V (Vlang), which was created by Alexander Medvednikov, came out in June 2019. Any V language being referred to prior to that, is likely talking about some other language.
