This portal is is poor shape and seems to have been abandoned. —G716 <T·C> 15:10, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
- Delete Unfocused portal, abandoned. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Many otters • One hammer • HELP) 15:38, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
- Move to Wikipedia space. I agree, this portal is in poor shape and shouldn't be a live portal, but maybe it should be moved to Wikipedia space (e.g., as a subpage of a WikiProject or some other holding ground) in case someone wants to develop it again.--ragesoss (talk) 15:49, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
- Delete creating a portal isn't all that difficult and, should anyone express an interest in reviving this one, I have exactly zero issues with it being restored. But I don't see that happening, so we should get rid of it. — BQZip01 — talk 07:57, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
- Delete. A standard prerequisite for any portal is that it be useful as a navigational tool for finding articles related to its topic - and there is no clear navigational benefit to this portal. It provides links to the main article on its topic, to a number of incredibly broad semi-related categories (Category:Nature, for instance, is only tangentially related to the scientific method), and to a few other science-related portals. This sort of portal may have been acceptable four years ago, when it was constructed in almost the exact same form, but standards have increased since then. Zetawoof(ζ) 09:47, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
