This is my attempt (as of 19:36, 8 January 2023 (UTC)) to make Module:Signpost capable of returning author and/or views data. Here are some test cases. I'm using User talk:JPxG/sandbox99, which is simply {{#invoke:Sandbox/JPxG|main}} , which is the same thing Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Templates/Article list maker does for Module:Signpost.

Anyway, all of these test cases should work, and currently, they don't ():
