OpenAtom Foundation (Chinese: 开放原子开源基金会) is the first foundation for the open source software in China. It was established in June 2020 and jointly initiated by Alibaba, Baidu, Huawei, Inspur, Qihoo 360, Tencent, China Merchants Bank and other companies.[1][2] It is a non-profit independent legal entity registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China.
The foundation sponsored a collection of open source projects including OpenHarmony, openEuler, TecentOS Tiny, AliOS Things,[3] Unified Business Modeling Language (UBML),[4] TKEStack,[5] XuperChain, etc.[6]
