Usage
Enter this tag in the thumbnail caption of an image as a request for other editors to find citations for that image:
- to let the readers of the article know that the image adds unverified information to the article.
- to request that the image follows Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Citing sources, Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:Reliable sources.
Note: this template is not for copyright status – only for verifiability of material depicted in the image as relating to the article in which this template is used.
This template is a self-reference and so is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopedic content.
This template automatically adds articles to Category:Articles with unsourced statements.
