I find the block diagram confusing

In my opinion, the block diagram https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Process_variable#/media/File:Set-point_control.png is providing more confusion than clarity. First, it does not use the terms (Process Variable, or PV) that are in the article. Secondly, it introduces process disturbance, which is not necessary to understand the concept. Third, the layout of the diagram is not intuitive. If you agree, then we can create a new and simpler diagram.
