sugarcube.js

A user script which adds more tools to wikipedia.

Add the script

  1. Go to the page User:(your username)/common.js (for example, for the user Example, it would be User:Example/common.js)
  2. Add this to the top of the page (create it if you haven't yet):
    mw.loader.load("/w/index.php?title=User:BoxOfNotes/sugarcube.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript");
  3. Reload the page and there should be some buttons on the top left (next to the wikipedia logo). If not, go here and click Yes to purge the cache.

Note that the script currently only works on the english wikipedia (the wiki you're on right now).

Preferences are at Special:Sugarcube (only works if you have added the script).

All features:

  • Extra tools (tools) - adds 3 buttons at the top left that open a dropdown. (only 2 are added and none of them work)
  • No "From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" (noSiteSub) - only a little minor change.
  • Title icon (titleIcon) - adds a small icon of your choice in front of all page titles.
