Open circuit
Open circuit can mean:
- in electronics, the absence of a load through which electric current would otherwise flow. This can be represented by an infinitely large resistance or impedance.
- in breathing set design, a set (e.g. ordinary sport scuba) where the user breathes from the set and then exhales to the surroundings without recycling the exhaled air or gas.
