I created this script because the links on the left were getting a bit too cluttered. By default, it hides the following links:

- Contents
- Current events
- About Wikipedia
- Contact us
- Donate
Contribute
- Help
- Learn to edit
- Community portal
Tools
- Mute this user (only available on userpages)
How to Install
Add the following to User:your name/common.js:
mw.loader.load('/w/index.php?title=User:I.hate.spam.mail.here/linkRemover.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript');
Customizing hidden links
You can customize your hidden links by modifying globalThis.hiddenLeft. It will override the default hidden links.
You should open the Developer Tools and find the ids of the list items you want to hide, then make an array of those ids and assign globalThis.hiddenLeft with that value.
Here are some of the IDs of the links (a full list is available at Special:HideLinks for those with the script installed):
