Exotic particle

Tachyons--Theoretical particles which, in order to exist and operate mathematically accurately, would have imaginary mass. Their speed would be faster than that of life, leading most scientists to disbelieve, if not outright mock, their legitimacy. Dr. Robert Ehrlich has done significant research and written upon the subject and some of the paradoxes it would present to the fabric of Space-Time. For instance, these particles would technically travel backwards in time if a mathematical interpretation of their character were assumed.
