Founded in 1998

"Kandi Friends Educational Trust" under the dynamic leadership of great visionary Revered Er. Gurcharan Singh Ji established Institutions at Village Bhaddal to implement their vision and mission to impart Quality Technical / Professional Education to the students in the less privileged Kandi area. The Institutes provide practical and job-oriented technical education for emerging & existing occupations. The Institutes continuously upgrade their methodology to enhance professionalism amongst the students, industries and communities.

As of today, we are an Integrated Technical Campus approved by AICTE, CoA, PCI, Govt. of Punjab, UGC under section 2(f) & 12(B) and affiliated to IKG-Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. The Campus has set itself a mission of creating ethical, moral and dedicated professionals who can play the role of global citizens. Till date more than 20000 IETians have graduated, distinguishing themselves as proud professionals in their respective occupations across the globe. To enhance the teaching skills of our existing Faculty & Faculty from other institutions STTPs, under scheme of NME-ICT in joint collaboration with IlTs, are regularly organized at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus.

The great visionary and a renowned social reformer, Revered Er. Gurcharan Singh, founded Bhaddal Institutes, Ropar to produce high quality Engineers, Architects and Managers who can work efficiently in multinational as well as multi cultural environments and deliver excellent results.

Er. Gurcharan Singh, with his vast experience in engineering, decided to build enriching careers for the youth of the country. He ensured this by establishing the vast and environment-friendly infrastructure at Bhaddal, equipped with best teaching aids in the field of technical education.

Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhaddal is presently conducting five under-graduates (B.Tech.) Courses in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and three post graduate courses i.e. M.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MCA and Diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Admission to above mentioned courses is done on the basis of rank secured in respective competitive/ entrance exam and on the percentage of qualifying examination as per norms of AICTE/CoA/University.

MoU with NIELIT

NIELIT offers various Training Programmes in the field of IECT to equip the students with necessary knowledge of the key industry practices and skills to be fruitfully employed besides exposure to live projects and hands-on practical training.

WHEREAS, in the spirit of the MoU signed by NIELIT with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under AICTE's Employability Enhancement Training Program (EETP) to provide competency based employability enhancement skils to the students of AlCTE funded institutions through NIELIT's own 40+ Centres across the country, IET Bhaddal has expressed its keen interest and desire to train its students at NIELIT Ropar, WHEREAS both parties have held discussions and agreed that NIELIT will impart the requisite training and award credits for the training conducted on its own, to the registered students of IET Bhaddal.

The Objective

The objective of this MoU is Employability Enhancement of the students covered under the programme and to set forth the modus operandi to provide Digital Literacy mandatory training to first and second semester students, Semester/ Industrial and Summer Training in the field of IECT and all related areas by NIELIT Ropar to IET Bhaddal students with an aim to equip the students with necessary knowledge of the key industry practices and skills to be fruitfully employed besides exposure to live projects and hands-on practical training.

Candidates seeking PTU B.Arch admission 2020 should meet the requirements and conditions prescribed by the concerned authorities. It is mandatory for each applicant to meet the eligibility criteria of PTU B.Arch 2020. PTU B.Arch 2020 Eligibility Criteria Qualifying Marks

• Candidates should have passes 12th standard with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics. Also, 50% aggregate in 10+2 level examination.
• OR
  Candidates should have passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Qualifying Examination

• Candidates should have a valid NATA score and marks secured in the qualifying examination in the ration of 50:50.

  If seats lest vacant JEE Main paper 2 scores will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification required for MBA is a 3 year Bachelors' degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from an institution recognized by Association of Indian Universities. The admission to MBA course will be based on merit in the qualifying examination or in the entrance test conducted by state level University.

The course is structured in eight semesters focusing on the issues and areas which require in depth study of all aspects of dosages forms. Course provides opportunities to large number of students to achieve higher order of skill, proficiency, sense of responsibility and competency in the profession of Pharmacy. .

8 Semesters/4 years regular course affiliated to IKG- PTU approved by AICTE ,PCI & Punjab Govt.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Math. or Biology and Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in the above subjects taken together).

Our aim is to produce pharmacy graduates who can cater the needs of society in various domains of the pharmaceutical sciences. The pharmaceutical profession is ever demanding which is undergoing a rapid change due to new technological interventions, requirements and the regulatory guidelines. A pharmacy graduate can make their career in Government sectors as pharmacist, drug control officer, drug analyst, etc. whereas in private sector as chemist/officer in production, quality control, quality assurance, packaging, drug regulatory affairs, clinical studies, pharmacovigilance, research & development, formulation & development, clinical research organization, marketing, sale & retail, and many more. A pharmacist is emerging as an important health care professional, being involved not only in the safe and efficacious manufacture of drugs and pharmaceuticals but also in newer profiles in growing sectors like, research & development, clinical studies and community pharmacist.

Further, with the emergence of new health challenges and microbial infections made the profession more revolutionized with a large socio-economic relevance to the Indian economy. For quality and effective medicines trained and skilled manpower with the waste knowledge of drugs and their practices is essentially required. With this objective in mind the Kandi Friends Educational Trust established Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2018. Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bhaddal is located in a peaceful lush green area of Bhaddal P.O. Mianpur, Ropar and consistently providing advanced technical education in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Institute is running D. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy programs since 2018. Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Bhaddal is affiliated from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh, IK-Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and approved from Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The Institute aims to deliver quality education to the pharmacy students and develop trained and competent pharmacists to serve the society through quality education and industry aligned training set-ups. The Institute provides a congenial environment for the holistic growth and all-round development of the student through systemically designed teaching-learning processes. The Institute education and training system make the students globally fit with good communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, work in team and scientific mind set-up. Following the vision of our Founder Chairman, Revered Er. Gurcharan Singh, Ms. Kulwinder Gurcharan Singh, ex Chairperson; established the sister Institute, GCS Institute of Vocational Studies, Bhaddal in 2009 to promote professionalism among rural students. The Institute has infra structural and other facilities as per the requirements of the Punjab Technical University to match the curriculum. Campus Area

IET Bhaddal Technical Campus is spread over an area of 60 acres in a lush green pollution-free environment of Shivalik foothills which provide the ideal environment for the development of mind & the senses. All the Institutes of Bhaddal Technical Campus employ well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty as per the AICTE norms.

Sport activites

The Campus provides excellent sports facilities for various track events. Well designed fields and courts along with separate gymnasium for boys and girls are available. The following sports facilities are available at the Campus: Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Handball, Cricket, Hockey, Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn-Tennis, Athletics and Yoga.

Campus Infrastructure

The campus also boasts of well-equipped laboratories & workshops, a computerized central library with an air-conditioned reading room, a digital Library, Wi-Fi facility through-out the campus, air-cooled & air-conditioned independent hostels for boys and girls along with mess facility, a medical centre with on-call doctor, a canteen & tuck shops, residence for faculty, guest house, etc.

Anti Ragging Measures

The UGC has made it mandatory for all students/parents to submit anti ragging affidavits to the institute at the time of admission. The format of Affidavits is available on www.amanmovement.org. After filling the online form student will receive 'students and parents anti Ragging affidavits' in the email. Print both affidavits. Students and Parents are requested to read the details and sign the student-affidavit and parents affidavit respectively. They are requested to submit both affidavits to the college at the time of admission/registration, every year.

The Supreme Court of India has made it mandatory for the Heads of the Institutions to file FIRs against the students indulging in ragging (Ragging is prohibited as per the decision of the Supreme Court of India vide Petition No. © 656/1998). Indulging in ragging is cognizable offence which leads to strict disciplinary and legal action including expulsion of concerned student(s)from the Campus.

Important Information

#
1	The Institute does not enter into correspondence with any person other than the Parent(s)/guardian(s) of the student, who have signed the students application form at the time of admission.
2.	The fee collected from students will be refundable as per University and AICTE norms.
3.	Students are required to strictly adhere to the academic schedule and time. Punctuality in class is always essential. Defaulters are liable to face disciplinary action.
4.	Students not in a position to attend the classes are required to apply for leave of absence to the HOD concerned and get such leave sanctioned on application.
5.	Student tutors have been appointed for guidance and personal counseling. The students must contact the respective tutor/student counselor for guidance and advice.
6.	The students are required to be well dressed while they are on campus.
7.	During workshop practicals/ training, wearing of knee length, full sleeves grey apron is mandatory. A white lab coat must be worn during Chemistry Practical.
8.	Library books are issued for a specified period. These must be returned in time.
9.	Students must show respect to the Faculty, staff and senior students .
10.	Mid semester tests are compulsory for all students.
11.	Students must read the notices and visit website www.ietbhaddal.edu.in regularly. Any notice displayed on the 'College Notice Board' will amount to serve of the notice to the, student(s) concerned. Not having read the notice cannot be taken as an excuse.
12.	To improve, protect, and conserve natural resources, the students must ensure that all water taps are turned off after use and all lights and fans are switched off after use.
13.	Students must observe the times specified (for them) for office, library, mess and the labs.
14.	It is mandatory for the students to wear Institute uniform on the days as specified by the competent authority.
15.	Request for hostel allotment considered on yearly basis.

General Conduct

#
1.	All students are to abide by the rules. Breach of the rules or other misconduct will render a student liable to disciplinary action including expulsion from the Institute.
2.	Disciplinary action will be initiated against any student found misbehaving or creating nuisance, or causing disturbance in the class, lab or anywhere else on the campus.
3.	Each student is responsible to keep his/her parents or guardian informed about his/her progress in the Institute, non-payment of fees, removal of his/her name from the Institute rolls or disciplinary action taken against him/her.
4.	It will be the responsibility of the student to keep their respective Institute and Department office informed about any change in the address and contact number of his/her parents/guardian.
5.	While undergoing practical training the students shall abide by the rules of the organization in which they are taking training and shall obey the orders and disciplinary control of such organization.
6.	If, as a result of, demonstration/strike/mischief, any property/equipment in the campus is damaged and loss is caused to the Institution, the same would be recovered either directly from those identified person(s), wherever possible, or else, collectively from such group/ associations as were responsible for the demonstration/ strike.
7.	Absence from the class will be taken as an act of indiscipline. Strict action will be taken against the defaulters. The fine as per Campus norms will also be levied.
8.	Ragging of any student inside or outside the campus is cognizable offence and hence strictly prohibited. Indulging in ragging will lead to strict disciplinary action including expulsion from the institute.
9.	Students/Class indulging in defacing of furniture, equipment or buildings will be required to bear the cost for the restoration of the various items into the original condition. In addition, a heavy fine will also be imposed on defaulters.
10.	Carriage, holding, consumption and use in any form of any intoxicating agent is forbidden. Violation of the rule in any form would be severely dealt with.
11.	Students are advised to submit the previous medical history if any to the competent authority.
12.	At the time of Allotment of hostel necessary furniture and fixture will be issued to the occupants. Hosteller will be responsible for proper care of issued items. In case of inadvertent/delibrate attempt to damage any of the issued items, the students shall have to bear the damaged cost.
13.	The Campus provides Group Personal, accidental Medical Insurance Policy.
