Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 4 external links on Web Bot. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

no scientific backing for the term "Web Bot" in the context of prediction through internet data

The Term "Web Bot", from a semantic perspective does not really seem to fit the Description of its Wikipedia Page as it is right now. In various Papers and scientific Studies it is used with a different, more broad meaning, describing Web Bots as intelligent agents interacting with webservers. Also the references in this page seem to be only news articles and blogs, writing about predictions by algorithms. It would make more sense if the title and the content of the page would be changed to describe prediction through web data (if a similar article does not already exist).

"Web Bot" is a proper noun - the name of a specific service. It seems like you're talking about "web bots" (lowercase), another name for internet bot. The capitalisation is significant. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 15:54, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
