Parsnip is a Melbourne-based rock band.[1]

History

Parsnip formed in 2016 out of a conversation at Jerkfest in Geelong.[2]

They are a four-piece women's rock group consisting of Stella Rennex and Rebecca Liston from Sydney, Paris Richens from Geelong and Carolyn Hawkins from Melbourne.[1][3]

Parsnip toured the United States in 2019.[4] In 2022 the band played as part of Homecoming, a tour that returns musicians to perform in their hometowns after the lockdowns of the COVID-19 pandemic.[5][6]
