Webhelp is an multinational business headquartered in France. From sales to service, content moderation to credit management, Webhelp is an end-to-end partner for businesses' B2C and B2B customer journeys.

History

In June 2000, Olivier Duha co-founded Webhelp with Frédéric Jousset, a former colleague from Bain & Company. Their initial ambition was to make searching the internet easier for everyone, from which they developed the idea of a human search engine.

With Duha and Jousset at the helm, the business grew in the French CRM market via a multi-disciplinary approach during the first five years. A best-shoring model matched the talents of people to the needs of Webhelp's clients.

The next half decade saw Webhelp expand rapidly in both services and locations. By 2010, Webhelp was present in five countries offering a wide range of new services to its growing client base.

Duha also led the first acquisition in France, solidifying Webhelp’s market leadership in the French market.

The start of a decade of high growth. Webhelp opened new locations for clients, and welcomed many new members to the Webhelp family through five acquisitions, including its expansion into Northern Europe and the UK.

Under Duha’s lead, Webhelp continued to develop its range of services. Webhelp then became a business solutions partner serving over 500 brands and covering the end-to-end customer journey.

On Webhelp’s path towards global leadership, it became the number player in Europe, supported by a significant acquisition in Spain and Germany. Webhelp also made strategic acquisitions in technology and services, strengthening its digital offerings and transformational capabilities. As passionate game-changers, Webhelp continued to innovate while maintaining its unique culture.

Webhelp celebrated its 20th anniversary with a new global brand, reinforcing its unique positioning and vision to make business more human. After two decades in, Webhelp has maintained agility, a disruptive mindset, and the ambition of being the biggest start up in the world.

Today, Webhelp employs over 100,000 passionate game-changers from hundreds of locations in over 55 countries, serving thousands of clients and their brands and customers.
