Postman is an application allowing to test APIs, created in 2012 by Abhinav Asthana, Ankit Sobti and Abhijit Kane[1] in Bangalore, in order to solve the API tests sharing problematic. At first, it was a plugin of Google Chrome, then a rich client, and finally a thin client. It's now used by more than 500,000 companies worldwide and its headquarter is in San Francisco[2][3].
