Playing speed

Why does the article note that the vinyl record can be played at 33 1/3 or 45 rpm? This is true of all vinyl records, with the appropriate devices; does something special happen to this one? Is there some source that said they did something special in the recording process with an eye toward making something interesting at two different speeds? Or is it a 33 1/3 album with a 45 rpm-sized opening in the middle? I don't get it. Lawikitejana 03:55, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why it was there either; I think I may have copied it from some other band's album page, which I probably used as a template to start this one, then never took it out. Either way, good point, it does seem to be useless info and I've yanked it out.Thehaikumaster 18:15, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
