For Richer...For Poorer was a 1975 BBC television pilot starring Harry H Corbett as Bert, a union shop-steward who worships Stalin and has dreams of becoming a major politician.

Part of a comedy playhouse season, it was written by Johnny Speight and produced by Dennis Main Wilson, the same team behind Til Death Us Do Part. Bert was seen as the left-wing equivalent of Alf Garnett. The link being its title is also part of wedding vows.

This one-off was broadcast on a wednesday at 9.25pm on BBC1, on the 25th June 1975.

The show is missing from the television archives.
