Untitled

Specifically the problem is that it shows a nice large matrix without ever saying what those numbers mean.

I kind of guessed that the third matrix is the first divided by the second, and I can also guess that the first matrix is some sort of version of the image (something that should be clarified, or linked to an article discussing it.)

But the big problem is the second matrix: that is the main point of the article and I have no idea where those numbers came from!

Color quantization

Hi all. I wrote the Color quantization article, which seems to have some overlap with this one (I just found this article). I'm not sure whether to remove the material in this article on color quantization and add a link, or to merge them into a single article. What do you think? Deco 08:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and merged out the content to color quantization, briefly summarizing it and linking it here. Deco 21:09, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This page's only citations are to a now dead article but I believe I've found a copy of the same article at: http://old.siggraph.org/education/materials/HyperGraph/video/mpeg/

If it's alright with everyone I'll relink it somehow but I don't know the protocol on this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Omicron91 (talkcontribs) 03:44, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
