Jeevan Padmakumar (born 12 September 1987) is an Indian playback singer sings mainly in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages.[1] He also sang numerous album songs, devotional songs, singles in all south indian laguages and Hindi.[2]

Personal Life

Jeevan Padmakumar was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He did his graduation in B.Sc. Biotechnology at University of Kerala and his masters degree in Healthcare Services Management at Sikkim Manipal University.[3]

Musical Career

Jeevan Padmakumar's grooming as a singer started at the age of 12. He represented his school in district and state youth festivals and won laurels. Jeevan Padmakumar is well known for his performances in music reality shows like Idea Star Singer, Indian Voice Season 2,[4] etc. After becoming the runner up of Indian Voice Season 2 (Mazhavil Manorama, 2013) he got introduced to the music industry by music composer Sharreth through the national award winning Telugu Movie Naa Bangaaru Talli directed by Rajesh Touchriver.[5] Later he has associated with the renowned music directors of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi music industries. His love for stage performances earned him a reputation for being a very strong live stage performer. He shared so many stages with extremely popular and celebrated artists from the Indian Movie Industry and travelled across the globe with his band for performing.
