Md. Rashed Amin is a retired Major General of Bangladesh Army. Currently he is a Senior Directing Staff (SDS, Army) at National Defense College appointed on December, 2021. He served as the General officer commanding of 7th Infantry Division and commander of Sheikh Hasina Cantonment.[1]

Career

Amin worked as a faculty at the National Defence College.[2] He is a patron of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers Association.[3]

Amin was commanding the armoured brigade of the 11th Infantry Division, based in Bogra Cantonment, when he was promoted to the rank of Major General in October 2016.[4] He was appointed the General officer commanding of 33rd Infantry Division.[5]
