Alan Donald Whicker, CBE (born August 2, 1925) is a British journalist and broadcaster. He is best-known for presenting the long-running television programme Whicker's World. He is also the man behind the popular advertising slogan "Hello World", for travelocity.co.uk

In the New Year's Honours List published 31 December 2004 he was created a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to Broadcasting.
