Coding-independent code points

Coding-independent code points (CICP) is a way to signal the color profile of an image or video.[1] It's simpler than the use of ICC profiles.[2] It is defined in both ITU-T H.273 and ISO/IEC 23091-2.[1] It is used by multiple codecs including AVC[citation needed], HEVC[citation needed] and AVIF.[2]
