THE ARDENTS

Rock, blues and country Band

BASED IN UK

Fusing together a furious fusion of guitar-fuelled emotion and funk-induced intoxication, The Ardents are an emerging band from the UK. Their sound is deeply authentic and oozing with originality as they continue to break down barriers and position themselves as a fresh new flavour on the global music scene.

The five piece is made up of a number of talented musicians with a wealth of experience in various ventures. Leigh is the main figurehead of the band. A whimsical creative from South Africa with a commanding stage presence that turns heads. On guitar we have Stu, a lifelong guitarist with a technical playing style and fierce attention to detail. Katty is on cello and brings soothing strings to the stage. Then on drums we have Chris, seasoned punk and rock drummer who creates complex rhythms. Finally there is Peter who uses his vivid imagination to craft the lyrics and some guitar lines.

The group have been causing a stir for sometime now. They’ve released a steady string of successful releases that have seen them grow a committed following. From the uplifting melodies of soul-fuelled soundtrack “Wish”, to the gloomy smooth atmosphere of “Shadow”, the band have a real ability to blur together different styles and create something fresh and innovative every time. Expect to be seeing a lot more of them in the coming years as they continue to harness their sound and obliterate our expectations of the rock genre.
