I don't think that the following is correct:

In hexagonal sampling, the V matrix assumes the following general form:-

Using only one direction given by this matrix, i.e. multiplying by (1,0), (2,0), (3,0) ... we would move the sample positions along a 45 degree line. This clearly isn't the case when comparing to the related figure for the hexagonal sampling grid.

clarity

The lead section does not mention hexagonal sampling. I really have no idea what it means. Setreset (talk) 13:40, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
