The Ministry of Local Administration and Environment is a department of the Council of Ministers.[1]

Responsibility

is the concerned ministry, through the Local Administration Law, to decentralize authorities and responsibilities and concentrate them in the hands of the people, and create administrative units capable of planning and implementation processes, developing development plans for the local community and implementing their own projects. And also simplify procedures to secure services for citizens by establishing citizen service centers that are concerned with granting licenses, services, and all kinds of care. The ministry is also responsible for setting the general policy and plans needed to protect and develop the environment.
