Major edit, 15/01/07

I have made major changes to this page. As far as I am aware, CIF is a technical term with a specific definition, created in H.261. The previous version made references to all sorts of things not defined there (SQCIF, 2CIF, 4CIF, NTSC-type CIF) which I have removed. Since the point of CIF was to be a common standard convertible to NTSC or PAL, it would have been silly to create two different types of CIF!

I hope the new version is much clearer than before. --Rhebus 16:28, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Have 2CIF in the world?
