Crowns vs shields
Not sure one size fits all will work here. I can see using the junction crowns in RJLs (i.e. with jct/jcon), and using the reassurance markers in route lists and infoboxes. I'm not entirely sure how this template works so I don't want to try and make a switch for when the module is called by different templates. - Floydian τ ¢ 22:01, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
- Guilty for making it all crowns. The easiest thing to do is to have a separate type for shields and one for crowns. There's a fair amount of customization we can do in
{{routelist row}}if that's the route you wanted to go. –Fredddie™ 03:26, 2 February 2021 (UTC)- The crowns would make sense when the highway is referenced as a junction with the subject of the article, and the shields in every other case. As it stands at the moment, using {{jct}} produces shields while {{jcon}} produces crowns:
- I'm curious as to which subpage/module is processing jcon, because a switch could be fired for
|crown=yesor similar, both templates synchronised, and an AWB run through the junction lists to add that parameter.
