Lateral lisp

An lateral lisp is a kind of lisp. It results in "s" being pronounced as a sort of lateral sound. The sound sounds as if the person were ready to spit. A well known example of a lateral lisp is Sid the ground sloth from Ice Age (film) and Ice Age: The Meltdown (film)
