Official DC Index

Series of comic books released by Independent Comics Group (an imprint of Eclipse Comics) during the 1980's, which synopsized several DC Comics series. Due to poor sales, some series were cancelled before completion (the All-Star and Legion indices), and a proposed Legends index was never released.

The complete list of series is below:

All-Star Index 1 - Includes the first four issues of All-Star Comics, and the origin of the Justice Society of America from DC Special 29; the series' cancellation prevented further issues from being indexed

Crisis on Infinite Earths Index 1 - Includes every issue of the Crisis mini-series; an updated version of the book appears in the Crisis on Infinite Earths Absolute Edition

Crisis on Infinite Earths Crossover Index 1 - Includes brief synopses of all official (and a few unofficial) Crisis crossovers, as well as synopses of the major Earths in the Multiverse, a list of pre-Crisis Monitor appearances, and a Crisis timeline; an updated version of the book appears in the Crisis on Infinite Earths Absolute Edition

Doom Patrol Index 1, 2 - Includes every Doom Patrol story through their Showcase revival in the 1970's

Hawkman Index 1, 2 - Includes every Hawkman story from the Silver Age through his mid 1980's regular series

Justice League of America Index 1-8 - Includes all 261 issues (plus all 3 Annuals) of the first Justice League of America series; also includes synopses of the Justice League's appearances in Brave and the Bold, the Red Tornado mini-series, the Zatanna special from the 1980's, and several books which reprinted Justice League stories.

Legion of Super-Heroes Index 1-5 - Includes every Legion story up through the early 1970's, when the series' cancellation prevented further stories from being indexed

Millennium Index 1, 2 - Includes every issue of the Millennium mini-series, as well as every crossover

Teen Titans Index 1-5 - Includes every Teen Titans story up through the mid 1980's
