Simple Service Discovery Protocol

SSDP ("Simple Service Discovery Protokoll") ist ein Netzwerkprotokoll, welches irgendetwas mit UPnP zu tun hat. Microsoft hat ihn seit Microsoft Windows ME eingeführt. Der Dienst soll wohl nach UPnP-Geräten im Netzwerk suchen.

SSDP nutzt normalerweise den Port 1900 (TCP und UDP) (siehe offizielle Portliste der IANA).
